1992年結成、テキサス産カルトデスメタル。
邪悪スラッシュメタルをベースにヘヴィなドゥームメタルパートを組み込んだデスメタル。
ブラストを取り入れないスタイルで当時としてもオールドスクールなサウンドでピュアデスマニアでは非常に評価の高かったバンド。
1995年解散後、ギターのXan HammackによりCRIMSON RELIC名義でアルバムをリリースするもほとんど話題にならなかった。ギターチューニングも半音あがりDIVINE EVE時代の曲もプレイしているのでDIVINE EVEファンは要チェック。
その後、MichaelとMattによりRAPE PILLAGE AND BURNを結成。その後、2008年にDIVINE EVEも再結成。
今作は1993年にリリースされた"As the Angels Weep"ミニアルバム、"Death…Is Just the Beginning III"コンピレーションにも収録されBUTCHER ABCもカバーしていた"Velvet of the Godless"を含む94年デモ音源、CELTIC FROSTカバー、SODOMのカバーの全9曲を収録したディスコグラフィーアルバム。
